"We're always there with Loving, Quality Care."

THINK OF COVID-19 AS GLITTER:

HAVE YOU EVER COME INTO CONTACT WITH GLITTER? LIKE HUGGED OR SHAKEN HANDS WITH SOMEONE WHO WAS WEARING OR USING IT? AND NOW FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS IT HANGS AROUND FOREVER AND ENDS UP ON SURFACES YOU CAN'T RECALL TOUCHING, AND PLACES YOU CAN'T IMAGINE IT EVER GETTING, AND IT SEEMS TO STILL BE THERE EVEN AFTER YOU SHOWERED AND WASHED YOUR HANDS...

Outdoor and indoor visits with your loved ones are available by appointment only. Call 332-4808 to make your appointment. Ask for Ward Clerk. Must maintain social distancing. Masks must be worn at all times while visiting. Please, No touching, hugging or kissing.

Attention Residents' Families

St. Agnes provides oral and personal hygiene products and toiletries to all residents as needed. If you are in need, notify your Nursing Assistant. Also, please make sure to bring all new clothing items to Laundry to be labeled before placing them in your loved one's room. Families no longer need to label residents' clothes, shoes, socks, etc.. State regulations are that clothes, including shoes, socks, etc., cannot have labeling on the outside. The label must not be visible! The St. Agnes Laundry Department is required to label all items.

Any personal items brought into St. Agnes after the initial admit should be checked in at the appropriate Nurse's Station and to be noted on the resident's Personal Inventory Sheet located in the chart. This is the only way we are able to maintain an accurate record of each resident's belongings.

Family Members

St. Agnes has an "Open Door" policy.  We welcome input from our family members, as well as our residents. All family members are encouraged to provide St. Agnes with any ideas or concerns they may have regarding our residents and their care. Our goal is to provide our residents with a pleasant stay and to ensure they receive the highest level of care possible.

Shingles Vaccine

Information on the Shingles Vaccine is available. If you would like more information or a pamphlet on the vaccine, please see "Heather," one of our Quality Assurance Nurses.

Thank you for your help!

Transportation is available for medical appointments and for entertainment like shopping trips and going out to eat!

Just a Reminder...

All residents' Medical Records are reviewed at least quarterly in a weekly meeting of our interdisciplinary team that we refer to as "Staffing." Each resident's chart, including the plan of care, medications, and any changes that he/she may be experiencing, is reviewed. If you are interested in attending your family member's meeting and have not received an invitation, you may call "Sue" to attend a review.
